Olivia reached out because she felt stuck.

She had been running her business successfully for a few years but was unsure about the next steps. She had explored new offers and ideas, but felt overwhelmed by the possibilities and needed clarity on her direction.

We worked online using Zoom for meetings and Miro for collaboration.

Discovery Call & Approach – 1 hour

In our initial 1-hour discovery call, I guided Olivia through questions that helped her gain immediate clarity. She realised her current brand no longer aligned with her long-term vision and the direction she wanted to take the business.

Following this, I designed a series of creative workshops to help her:

  • Define her new business and brand vision.
  • Generate product and service ideas aligned with it.

Before our first workshop, I sent her a preparation exercise via email.

This activity encouraged lateral thinking to unlock new ways of relating to her brand vision.

Workshop Part 1: Defining the New Brand Vision – 50 minutes

In our 2-hour session, we started by reviewing her homework exercise, analysing the reasoning behind her choices, the words, imagery, and associations she selected.

This helped us define key brand attributes and group them into themes.

These themes led to a clear “How might we” statement, setting the stage for the next phase: idea generation.

Workshop Part 2: Rapid Ideation Session – 1 hour

After a short break and a creative warm-up exercise, we focused on brainstorming new product and service ideas that aligned with her vision.

We encouraged wild ideas without constraints, then refined them by discussing how they could be made real.

By the end of the session, we had generated 21 ideas, with three emerging as the strongest candidates for development.

Next Steps

In the final 5 minutes, we outlined Olivia’s immediate actions:

  1. Test the new brand message with her existing audience.
  2. Choose one idea to develop and test with current customers.

Follow-Up

A few days later, I sent Olivia a PDF summarising our workshop outcomes, along with additional insights to help her refine her brand message and select an idea to move forward with.
