These terms apply to the fundraising simulator at play.lumni.work (the “Game”), operated by Lumni Works Ltd, registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16215664), Office 851, 60 Tottenham Court Road, London W1T 2EW. By using the Game, you agree to these terms.
This game does not provide investment advice
This is the most important thing on this page, so read it carefully.
The Game is an educational simulation. It is for learning and entertainment only. Nothing in it is financial advice, legal advice, investment advice, tax advice, or any other kind of professional advice, and nothing in it should be relied on when making real decisions about your company, your fundraising, or your money.
The scenarios, companies, figures, and feedback in the Game are illustrative and fictional. Real fundraising depends on your specific circumstances, and the right answer for a fictional company will often be the wrong answer for yours. Before making any real decision, take advice from a qualified professional who knows your situation.
We make no promise that playing the Game will lead to any particular outcome, and we are not responsible for decisions you make based on it.
What the Game is
The Game is a free, browser-based simulator. No account or payment is required to play. We may add, change, or remove parts of the Game at any time, and we may release new content in stages.
Acceptable use
When using the Game, you agree not to: copy, scrape, republish, or redistribute the Game’s content (scenarios, feedback, and other text) without our written permission; attempt to break, overload, or interfere with the Game or the systems behind it; or use the Game for any unlawful purpose.
Intellectual property
The Game, including its scenarios, feedback, design, and underlying content, is owned by Lumni Works Ltd or used under licence. You may play the Game for your own use, but you may not reproduce or distribute its content without our written permission.
No guarantees
The Game is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that it will always be available, error-free, accurate, or uninterrupted. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Game, including any decision you make based on it.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under law.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the Game after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
